True. I always try to give 110% in all that I do, that doesn't mean that I am always THE best. Whenever I am given something to do, I think about it, learn about it and then I embrace it. Whenever I have a project or whatever I give my all. I put forth time, effort and creativity to make sure I earn a high grade. Though I may not always get a 100 (because face it, nothing is perfect) I shoot for the moon and if I miss, I can at least land on a star. For example, basketball managing. I make sure I am the best manager I can be. If a player is hungry, I buy them food, I make sure I am always at the games and if I am not able to make it, I check to make sure the other manager will be there. I wish the players good luck before they go out onto the court and I always cheer for them. In school, I make sure that my projects are not only done, but above and beyond the requirements in creativity and chock full of information! With Bunje's OPs, I may not always have them done right away, but I am always one of the first done and I make sure I construct it well with an intro, three body and a closing paragraph. While at a job I listen to the customer and am as helpful as I possibly can be. Therefore, it is true, I always do my best.
Honestly i dont try my best at everything i do. for example basketball season is now for those who dont know. i dont take it serious because i know i have no chance on being on the court. actually i've been thinking about quiting. im not usually a quitter but it just happens. when it comes to football i give my personal best and give it 100%. i think if i took my academics like i did football i could be a scholar athlete. my reason being is i get distracted easily. my grades aren't that bad but they could be better, atleast i think. Giving my pewrsonal best i think my days will never end. i'd probably be working all day until everything is done, so that i wouldn't have to worry about it later in the week. my personal best would consist on working to my best ability, and staying focused. its hard sometimes though. students around me, family issues, but i can't blame it on any of that. if i want it i'd try my hardest to get it
true and false. I like to try my best and think i do try my best when things catch my interest such sports, video games etc.But When it comes to school is usually when i tend to slack off. Like when it comes to classes i don't really need to graduate i don't try my best because i think there annoying and just not needed, But when it comes to the classes i actually like and classes i do need and will help me live my life as i get older i like to try my best. The thing is i lose interest really easy. For instance i played baseball when i was little and as i got older i stop caring for the sport because i never really got into as much as the other kids and i never tryed my best because i never got to play as much so i figured why Bother. Football i tryed my very best. I wasn't a starter but i played a good amount and i loved the game. That was something i allays tryed my hardest in no matter what. I hope as i get older i learn to try my best in everything so i am successful in life.
True. I feel like i try my hardest at things i do like , my work ,my test and everyday things in life. It gets hard sometimes but i was always taught that if you dont give at least 110% you wont get results you like. Over the past months ive noticed changes in myself when it comes to this topic. Im starting to do better , i would say im currently at the level of middle of the road achiever but im fine with that because i would start to feel like im stepping on people as an over achiever. But that does not mean its stopping me from doing my absolute best at any challenge bought to me, it just means that my absolute best might be someone else's average.I work hard for what i deserve as a student and as a person in life and i think me graduating will show that.
Usally when it comes to things like sports I really dont try my best at everything i do because i feel like its a waste of time for example when im in gym playing basketball i never try my best because i feel like i have nothing to prove because it isnt like trying my best in gym is going to get me a scolarship but when it come to school work and other stuff like that i do try my best .
True, you do your best work when you try. If you truly want something and try your best then you will be happy with the result. It may not be perfect but nothing is perfect, as long as you put your time and effort into it then it is good enough. I tend to be a “middle-of-the-road” achiever though, I know what I am able to do and I know that I can’t expect too much from myself without getting very stressed out. I may not try to be the very best but I still try which is the important thing. At times I feel like I should put more energy into things because I will get a better result, and sometimes I do put that extra effort into a project when I really want a good grade. When I think about it I want to try harder but procrastination kicks in, and that’s the one thing that prevents most people from trying their best or trying at all. So yes when you try your best you do your best, and every day I put more time and energy into school and activities that are important to me.
so, Ricky doesn't have an email, so therefore he doesn't have a blog account, so today I gave him the question and had him answer it and here is his answer.
It's true I try hard in everything I do. I hate the feeling of knowing I didn't give something all I got. During wrestling practice, I dislocated my shoulder and I had coach put it back in. I kept wrestling until it popped back out. I was in so much pain that I could barely move. I tried to keep going but the coach told me to stop. I told him that I didn't want to and that I could keep going. The coach had to physically drag me to the trainers. That night I felt like crap. I apologized to the coach the next day for not being able to finish the practice. He said it was okay and I've gone as hard as I could since then.
False! I never give the best out of me, because I never had anyone to show my best to. I've always been alone, no father, no mother only a young brother, he is always on his playstation. Now I'm destin to make it all change: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystey and today is a gift which we call present. I know I haven't done alot of things right in this life. But since it's my senior year I have to DO my best. I am forced to prove to my mom that I did do it all by my self. It's hard to know that because I was callow I made the wrong choices. At the end of the day I'm glad i'ts my past.
False. I know that I don’t try my hardest in everything I do. If I’m trying something for the first time and either I don’t like it or I don’t get how to do it, I’ll just do what I have to do to finish it. I hate to say that but it frustrates me to do something that I’m not good at or something that is hard for me. Usually I know after a little while of trying that either I’m going to get it or I’m not and if that happens then I’m not going to waste my time working hard for something that isn’t going to work out in the end. But if I’m trying and I know what I’m doing and fun or exciting for then I will try my hardest and be excited to do it. Like theres a difference for me, like homework if I know what I’m doing then I will try my hardest and get it done. Or sports, if I really love it I will above and beyond just because it means something really important to me. I think that I only put more effort into something if it means something important to me or its for something that means a lot to me, or if it’s going to benefit me in my future.
My answer is true and false. If I don’t like what I’m doing then I’m not going to put 100% to what I’m doing. There is no need if I’m not interested. It would be just a waste of time if you do something that you don’t like and you trying to put a 100%. For example like reading books. If the book is not interesting like in the first couple of chapters then I’m not going to continue reading it. Now if the book is interesting then obviously I would keep reading and put 100% into the work and tests. I just feel like majority of the people in the world if they’re not interested in what they’re doing or going to have to do, then they will not put 100% into what they doing. It’s like people in the real world when they have jobs. No one out there is going to get a job they obviously don’t like or don’t have interest in. People are going to have careers that they’re going to enjoy for the rest of their life. So basically I really don’t try to put my best in everything I do.
With most of the things that I do, I try to do my best in everything I do. I may not succeed with most of the thing but when it comes to a sport or school work; I try to do my best. I may have some days that I am lazy but most of the time I am giving 110 percent. I was raised to not slack and to not be lazy with the work I do because my name is on the job or work that I do and it doesn’t give you a good example of what you are capable. If you want to be noticed, you have to do your best with everything that I do. So since I was raised that way, I grew up with always giving my best shot with everything I do if it goes to football all the way to doing school work to my side job. It reflects on everything. Football is big because if you slacked, no one wants a slacker and they won’t recognize you, but if you gave your best, you may not be all great, but at least you get a good name for yourself. Goes with my side job, you want to make your wire running as great as you can make it because you want the home owner to call you back for more work. Or you want other people to say, wow that is great work, I want him to do mine too. Unfortunately people don’t talk like that but that’s shortened up of what they would say. I try to do my best with everything I do all because it will reflect on you in life.
It’s false but then again it’s true. It’s false because, like I don’t always try my best, most of the time I will do just enough to get past. I always did that my whole life. I don’t know why I always did this but I just always did, I think because I am a very lazy person and I never feel like doing anything. For example my Jr year I didn’t do anything in history for the whole year, I wasn’t getting F’s I just was getting low C’s and Getting D’s. But it’s true because even it comes to the point when I need to past something or get a great grade on something I would try my best and get it done. For example I will not do anything or not enough the first two quarters, than ill try and work my ass off so I could pass for the year. I believe I need to stop doing that because I am about to be in collage and I need to give 110% all the time no matter what. So starting now I have decided that I am not going to slack off anymore, because it doesn’t benefit me at all. That’s why I think its False and true at the same time.
I'm going to have to say true and false. When something is of my interest, then I give my best effort such as sports. On the other hand, I like relaxing and being lazy when I don't have to do anything. If I'm not busy and I'm just hanging around, I don't have to prove anything so no I'm not giving my best at all. Everyone thinks life is a huge competition, well I don't buy that. If I want to do something I do it, if I don't then back off I'm not doing anything. Relaxing and taking in the day is what I like to do sometimes and could care less what you think or what anybody thinks for that matter. Life isn't a race because we all die at the finish line, so live at your pace and do what you want, not what you hate.
well most of the time i try my hardest but sometimes i really dont care what the outcome is of most things. i give goood effort on alot of thing, like making money, saving money, and spending money. i dont have a clue what else to sayyy except i do try sometimes and sometimes i dontttttt... when im just relaxing at home or with the hubby i dont try anything.. only because he loves me as i am lol i really dont have to try my best. or on tests.. o9f course i try my hardest because im trying to get good grades.
That would be true. I try my best in everything I do and I fear failing at what I attempt. I do my best and regardless of the results at the end of the task I'm ok with it. I try not to regret the past because that's exactly what it is, the past. I believe a person truly happy with where they are in life wouldn't want to go back in time and correct a mistake. People make the best decisions with their current knowledge and personality making them who they are meant to be later in life.
Most of the time I put my all in the things I do but only when it’s something important or really big. Sometimes I don’t care what the outcome is as long as I did what I had to do and got credit for it. I think it’s false because people put there all in only the important stuff. Me I put my all in my son, my family, my relationship, and sometimes my education. I don’t know what else to put my all into except those four things. When I’m home I hardy work hard at doing stuff because I think it’s boring. But I have learned I have to put my all in everything to accomplish most things!
I actually think it would be in between because if I feel that it is something important than I will give 110%even if in the back of my head I know that I don’t succeed but if it’s something that I feel that’s not important than I probably won’t give it all my best but then I sit there and think that maybe that is not the right mindset to have that I should be thinking that I should try my best on everything no matter what it is important or not important and then some times when I do try and give it my best to do stuff and either I doesn’t work out I pressure myself and say why couldn’t I of done better than what I did so it’s really up in the air but I know what the answer should be
I would like to think i tried to do my best in every thing i do but than again there are some things were its like a 'yea ill do it but its not going to be my best'.Like in school I try my hardest for my grades and i also do my best on the art i work on. Then there the things like when i get homework ill try at the begining but if i cant get it than i give up and just guess sometimes. So I guess it just depends on what kind of work i really want to set my mind on.
I try to do everything to the best of my ability but sometimes I don't. So this is true and false, when it comes to something I am interested in I will do it 150% and I will not give up. On somethings that I am not interested in and that is boring, I do not try to the best ability. Although I know I should always try my best at everything I do. If I put my mind to something I will do it, and I will do it right. Sometimes I feel like I know I should have tried harder and I need to stop doing thing just good enough to get by. I want to do everything right the first time like I know I can.
False, I don't try my best at everything I do. Unless they grab my attention or its something I'm good at I'll put my 100% effort into it. Other than that if I know I'm not good then I'll give it a try but after a while I'll get frustrated and eventually give up. Sometimes I think to myself and tell myself that I should keep tryin, although without motivation I really don't get anything done which is what I despise the most about myself because I see people suceed for trying hard and then I think about how I should do the same, then again different people do things differently from others and suceed differently. I need to start putting my 100% effort into everything I do wheather I like it or not because if I don't learn now in the real world I really won't make it anywhere. That's not good at all. All I need is motivation.
False, I don’t always try my hardest in everything that I try. If it’s something I really so then ill try my hardest to either get a good grade, win, or to upgrade. If it’s something I’m not interested in or something I’m not well at I don’t try as hard. When I’m not good at something I tend to slack and usually give up. There are some people who will try there hardest at everything they do if they fail or succeed at it. When I tried to get into softball I tried my hardest at first because we hadn’t played yet and I did not know anything yet but when we got more into the game I did not want to play anymore. I wasn’t good at softball and I try to get into it but t just wasn’t for me so I did not try and did not care if I hit the ball or not. When it’s something I don’t care about I just try to certain amount. Where it gets you some credit but not to the end more I guess you could say mostly counts. Some people when they try they don’t simple fact there lazy and just want to do what ges them by. I don’t think when people try they try to there hardest.
True, it is true that I always try my best when I do things. I know that even though I might not study for a test or quiz I still try my best. I feel that if you don't give at least the best you can than why bother doIng it at all. I at least try to do my best and give as much effort as I can but after a while I won't lie I get mad if I don't accomplish it and I quite but I font regret it because I know I at least tried my best. So when it comes down to things I do try my best and give my best effort wether I accomplish it or not.
TRUE. Everything that I tend to do I give it my all. Like sports. Sports such as soccer is very important to me. Another example would be wrestling. I never wrestled a day in my life until this season. I gave it my 110% and I was on varsity. This also goes for things in my life as well like jobs. Also my goals and what I want to be in life. I will never give up until I reach that goal and I am satisfied with it. So that is why I consider myself an over achiever.
This is definitely 100% true for me. My family have raised me to be an over achiever. Especially my dad, my dad has always taught me how to do things the right way. I give everything my best effort. Even if the outcome isn’t what I was expecting, I still wouldn’t care because I know that I tried my best. A great example would be my school work. School is one of the most important things to me. That is why I try so hard to get good outcomes.
I dont always try my best, only on things i consider important or beneficial. For example, homework, i wont always do my best on it because itll slightly hurt my grade but not signficantly because theres a lot of homework and that one assignment is only a small percentage. Homework is designed to make us practice on what we've recently learned so it's not like we need to spend large amounts of time and use our brain to the fullest for these small assignments. But when we have assignments that could significantly affect our grades ill try my hardest, especially if the topic is something im interested in. In the end, i can always tell wether im gonna do good or bad because of how satisfied i am with what ive done. Its a matter of Interest, satisfaction and benefit. Sometimes we wont really be interested at all but we it will benefit us in the long run.
Honestly I would consider myself a under achiever. I do not always give things my best effort. I am very lazy most of the time. Also I like to just do enough to get by. I know that this is a bad habbit to have but it is hard for me to break it. I know later on in life that this will catch up to me. Most people tend to set the bar really high for me. Its not that I cant reach it but I do not like to put in the extra effort. So yes I consider myself a under achiever.
I consider myself in the middle. Most of the time I try 110% but there is still the other side of me that is like u don’t have to do this on assignment is not going to hurt you if you miss it. A lot of people can look at me and see that I am a hard worker and they set me to high standards. But setting them to high standards means that it puts a lot of stress on that person. Most of the time I try my hardest in everything I do because setting the first impression is the best then people will always remember you. But lately I have been slacking off in school and work I have no idea why but I need to break this habit. I cannot afford to fail high school and mess up my future. So basically I am a under achiever I wait for the last minute to do things then I do it half ass and that’s not the person I am. I have no idea why I do this but I am setting a goal to myself to stop doing these things so I can break this habit so I can’t do better in school and in life.
Sometimes i dont sometimes i do.It all depends on how im feeling and what it is about. I try to do my hardest that i can but then sometimes i just dont. One thing that i dont do is quit. I might take a lose but i will never fail. I just get right back up.I know im going to have to step it up when i get to college. But for now im just be doing me. So i guess for NOW in the middle achiever. Im going to break that tho and be a over achiever.
I would say true but I have to be honest, It’s probably False. Cause I don’t try my best in EVERTHING. Most things but not everything. It’s hard trying your best in every single thing you do. Be honest, everyone has been lazy at times through their life. Sometimes it’s hard not to be lazy. But our generation is getting more and more lazy, especially with all that technology out there now. I’m not too bad though. I get through school, I have a job, I don’t play video games as much as I used to. So I try my hardest in most thing, but I can’t say everything. I can say though that I am a very hard worker, even more then I thought. I just recently got employee of the month at my job, and I was completely shocked by this. I didn’t realize how hard I really do work. Although I do think I don’t work to my fullest at school, I’m sorry to admit. But it’s getting harder for me. Hard to concentrate, stays focused, and keep up with everything. It’s very stressful. Stress makes me not want to do anything, then everyone knows where that leads to. But I still try, to try, if that makes any sense at all.
ehhh i wont stay that i always try my best at everything i do/try. But i do know that if im good and that specific thing then i will go 110%. I can say that im the laziest person you will ever meet ( not saying it with pride, but its true ). As of school wise, this year i dont put as much effort as i should, due to the fact that my life has drastically changed. But at work & out in the real world, i try 110% to be the best i can be.
False i never try my hardest in anything. I never try my hardest in anything because to me I got this feeling of failure before I even try. Either that or i feel that the topic at hand is not worth my best efforts. Maybe I'm just afraid of failure but who isn't? Somehow I guess life has just conditioned me to expect failure. Recently I've been able to get over my fears i guess it just stems from the ultimate failure of all losing everything can show you how important everything is. It makes me see that everything is worth fighting my hardest for because it could slip right out of my hands at any second. Trying my hardest is different from trying my best. To try my hardest is like working for something. Making my best effort is like doing nothing at all because it just feels effortless. I guess maybe I never tried my best because i was scared it wasn't good enough but now that i see nothing is its better then not trying at all. The way i see it life is full of choices, some are harder to make because you don't realize how important they are.
its true most of the time.i always try as hard as i can when its something i want to do.i always find a way to get it done no matter how hard it is.but when its something i dont like i have a bad habit of cuting corners and not doing my best its something iv been working on alot recentley

ReplyDeleteWith most of the things that I do, I try to do my best in everything I do.

ReplyDeleteIt’s false but then again it’s true.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say true and false.
ReplyDeletewell most of the time i try my hardest but sometimes i really dont care what the outcome is of most things. i give goood effort on alot of thing, like making money, saving money, and spending money. i dont have a clue what else to sayyy except i do try sometimes and sometimes i dontttttt... when im just relaxing at home or with the hubby i dont try anything.. only because he loves me as i am lol i really dont have to try my best. or on tests.. o9f course i try my hardest because im trying to get good grades.
ReplyDeleteThat would be true.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I put my all in the things I do but only when it’s something important or really big.
ReplyDeleteI actually think it would be in between because if I feel that it is something important than I will give 110%even if in the back of my head I know that I don’t succeed but if it’s something that I feel that’s not important than I probably won’t give it all my best but then I sit there and think that maybe that is not the right mindset to have that I should be thinking that I should try my best on everything no matter what it is important or not important and then some times when I do try and give it my best to do stuff and either I doesn’t work out I pressure myself and say why couldn’t I of done better than what I did so it’s really up in the air but I know what the answer should be

ReplyDeleteI would like to think i tried to do my best in every thing i do but than again there are some things were its like a 'yea ill do it but its not going to be my best'.Like in school I try my hardest for my grades and i also do my best on the art i work on.
ReplyDeleteFalse, I don't try my best at everything I do.
ReplyDeleteFalse, I don’t always try my hardest in everything that I try.
ReplyDeleteTrue, it is true that I always try my best when I do things.
ReplyDeleteTRUE.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely 100% true for me.
ReplyDeleteI dont always try my best, only on things i consider important or beneficial.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I would consider myself a under achiever. I do not always give things my best effort. I am very lazy most of the time. Also I like to just do enough to get by. I know that this is a bad habbit to have but it is hard for me to break it.
ReplyDeleteI know later on in life that this will catch up to me.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I try my hardest in everything I do because setting the first impression is the best then people will always remember you.
ReplyDeleteI would say true but I have to be honest, It’s probably False.
ReplyDeleteehhh i wont stay that i always try my best at everything i do/try.
ReplyDeleteFalse i never try my hardest in anything.
ReplyDeleteI guess maybe I never tried my best because i was scared it wasn't good enough but now that i see nothing is its better then not trying at all.
